As duas produções juntas somam 37 nomeações. “American Horror Story” persegue as líderes com 17 possíveis vencedores.
A HBO é a estação que mais se destaca, com nada menos do que 99 nomeações. A plataforma Netflix também está bem representada, com 31 indicações, das quais se destacam as de melhor comédia para “Orange is the New Black”e melhor drama para “House of Cards”.
O anúncio dos nomeados para a 66ª edição dos Emmy foi feito pela actriz Mindy Kaling, da série “The Mindy Project” e pelo apresentador Carson Daly, do “The Voice” e “Today”.
A gala realiza-se a 25 de agosto, em Los Angeles. Seth Mayers é o apresentador da cerimónia. Dias antes, a 16 tem lugar o Creative Emmy Awards, onde são entregues os Emmy das categorias técnicas.
